Loc8tor Plus has been designed with businesses in mind and can assist with asset or stock auditing as well as be a powerful solution to the growing problem of theft from offices and warehouses.
Loc8tor can be used either as a mobile standalone device or in conjunction with other security systems. The Homing Tags can also support the facilities department, for instance in the tracking of keys throughout a building.
There are three specific Loc8tor modes that can support the everyday running of your business - Asset Protection, Alert and Locate.
Asset Protection
This mode enables restricted zones to be set up ensuring that assets are not removed from a specific area. These secure zones can be positioned around a door, reception area or loading bay. As soon as a tagged item comes into the restricted area an Alert sequence is activated on the Loc8tor using vibration and audio-visual signals to inform which item is in the restricted zone.
Up to a huge 6000 can be registered, so Asset Protection can be used for small or large commercial environments and can protect multiple entry and exit points.
Asset Protection is available as an optional upgrade and will be available in production units shortly.

Alert Mode
This mode enables Tags to be attached to all items considered vulnerable to theft, such as laptops, digital cameras or warehouse stock. A safety zone can then be set by the user - an area in which you are happy for the items to remain in relation to the Handheld. If a Tagged item is taken from the safety zone, an alert sequence is activated that uses vibration and audio-visual signals to tell you which item has gone astray.
Providing it is still within range, Loc8tor can then be used to find the missing item.
Safety zone ranges can be set by customers according to their specific needs. As many as 24 Tags can be registered per Loc8tor, and all individually identified by name.
Locate mode
Locate mode will provide directions for you to find any tagged item up to a range of 183 metres / 600 feet away.
Potential applications include finding any business assets such as keys, mobile phones, laptops and helping with stock / asset auditing.
